This was the process for making our pocket postcard. We created two pockets from the material Lauren brought, so we could decide which looked the most authentic.

We all decided that the Olive coloured wool material was most fitting as a world war one uniform pocket :)
My Mum created the pockets
These are two real military buttons from Briar's dads collection, we were going to use one of these. Unfortunately they were too big for the pocket so we used fake buttons from my mums sewing supplies instead.
